View taken from Tipton Road towards Dudley, with Dudley Castle in the background.  The Dudley railway site was to the left of the photo.  In the plans for the Brierley Hill to Wednesbury Metro line, the Metro would divert from the heavy rail route by heading straight ahead and up Castle Hill into Dudley Bus Station, with a provisional stop at Station Drive (close to the large building to the left of the photo).  The Dudley Innovation Centre is planned to be built on the far side of the line.

The same location as the previous photo after track clearance.
2020
The same location as the previous photo.  The site has been cleared and the retention wall separating the Metro from the Innocation Centre has been built.  Sleepers have arrived on site, probably to build the Innovation Centre test track.

2020
The same location as the previous photo.  A retention wall has been built to separate the Metro line from the Dudley Innovation Centre.  The Metro will go up the slope to the left of the wall while the Innovation Centre will be to the right of the wall.
