View taken from Tudor Court towards Dudley. The line linking the South Staffordshire line with Dudley Port High Level station diverged in the background and ran behind the houses on the right. The estate on the other side of the line was built between 1975 and 1985 and obliterated the trackbed (and embankment) of the link line.
The same location as the previous photo after track clearance.
View of the railway bridge in Victoria Road looking towards Park Lane East. Walsall was to the right and Dudley to the left. It was this bridge (headroom 13' 0") that was used to convert a WMPTE double-deck bus into open top format in the 1970's.
The same location as the previous photo. The railway bridge in Victoria Road was demolished during October 2020. A new bridge will be built in its place during 2021/2022.
View of the railway bridge in Sedgley Road East. The line runs from Dudley on the left towards Walsall to the right. Victoria Road bridge (in the previous photo) is about 200 yards to the right. In the plans for the Brierley Hill to Wednesbury Metro line, a stop at Sedgley Road would be situated between the two bridges.
The same location as the previous photo. The railway bridge in Sedgley Road East was demolished during August. A new bridge will be built in its place during 2021/2022.
