View taken from the bridge in New Road towards Dudley Tunnel and Walsall.  Blowers Green railway station was on this site.  If proposals go ahead, the right hand track would be reopened for heavy rail or tram-train, with the left hand track used as a test track for the Dudley Innovation Centre, while the Metro line would be on the embankment above the line on the right.  In the plans for the Brierley Hill to Wednesbury Metro line, a stop at New Road would be built.

View taken from the bridge in New Road towards Round Oak and Stourbridge.  The "Bumble Hole" line to Old Hill branched to the left at this point, but the track formation has been obliterated by the Dudley Southern Bypass.   In the plans for the Brierley Hill to Wednesbury Metro line, the tram line would descend on the embankment to the left of the photo and join the heavy rail line in the distance.  A stop would be built at Cinder Bank, close to where the lines converge.  The Dudley Innovation Centre test track would end before the lines converge.
